The Alpaca Club for the Baltimore County 4H Program

DAFI Alpacas is proud to be the home of The Alpaca Club for the Baltimore County 4H Program. We would like to congratulate all the youngsters who joined the Club this year.

Alpaca Club members worked hard to train "their " alpacas. They put on two wonderful demonstrations at the Baltimore County 4H Fair. The demonstrations included a costume parade with the alpacas and their handlers dressed in coordinated costumes! Also, some members attended the Great Frederick Fair.

In the past, we have been honored to have Ignacio Garaycochea attend the 4H show. He graciously presented recognition awards to all who participated in the demonstrations. Ignacio is from MFH Alpacas in Arequipa, Peru. Thank you, Ignacio, and congratulations to everyone!

Future meetings will include a talk on veterinary care, fiber projects and community service with the Alpacas.
